Tax & Treasury Recruitment Specialists (TTRS)have been asked by a luxury fashion group who are an instantly recognisable global brand, to help recruit a UK based Tax Manager.
This is a newly created role which will allow you the opportunity and autonomy to help shape and build the required structures and processes to ensure the smooth running of the department. The business itself is in a very healthy position and has posted very positive financial numbers for Q1 this year.
We are looking for someone who will take a broad minded approach and has demonstrable experience managing senior stake holders. Coming from a mainly advisory background you will work closely with the UK brand finance teams advising on all tax matters including tax reporting, VAT returns, coordination of custom compliance and all direct and indirect tax compliance processes. Alongside this it is imperative that you have a solid understanding and experience of advising on transfer pricing matters including transfer pricing documentation and transfer pricing adjustments.
This position will be suitable for someone who is currently a manager at one of the Big 4 accounting firms or at least have worked in a similar role within the retail sector and are interested in working in a fast paced and constantly evolving sector. Transfer pricing experience and international tax experience is a must, and it is expected you will be CTA qualified and hold an additional accounting qualification.
